PayPal are soon to release a brand new service called PayPal Here™. Designed for small businesses, PayPal Here™ is a simple solution that takes credit card, debit card and PayPal payments - anywhere you do business. It uses a mobile app and a dongle which plugs into the headphone socket on your mobile phone.
Simply swipe your customer’s credit or debit card through the dongle and enter the details. The customer can then sign directly on your mobile phone.

The system isn’t released yet, but you can register your interest and be among the first to get it when it arrives.
PayPal are saying both the app and the dongle will be free of charge and there will be a flat fee of 2.7% on all transactions.
